Brazil is offering one of the world's top destinations: the biggest
part of Amazon, the biggest waterfalls in the world - Iguassu, the
largest concentration of wild life - Pantanal, the longest tropic beach
in the world, and of course the largest street parade in the world - The
Carnaval (Brazilian). One of the most visited destinations there are the
Amazon Rainforest, the beaches and dunes in Northeaster region, Pantanal,

The high season in Rio de Janeiro is the summer (December until March),
but this is also the most crowded season with the highest hotel prices.
May - October is also good time for tourism, if you are looking for

Pantanal

Pantanal is rather unknown animal reserve, bigger than France,
seasonally flooded and one of the best destinations for people not
afraid of the mud and the discomfort to watch the wild live in
surrounding no existent anywhere else in America.
The seasons in Brazil are different than these in Europe: Spring 22
September - 21 December; Summer 22 December - 21 March; Spring 22 March
- 21 June; Winter 22 June - 21 September. These seasons are only
sensible in south Brazil, the bigger part of the country is divided into
2 seasons: rainy during summer and non rainy during winter. If you plan
to go to the northeastern part of the country, Amazon or even Rio, you
have to consider not the cold but the rains. Although most of the rains
last not more than an hour or two, there are a lot of serious rainfalls
especially in the regions with underlined rainy season like Amazon and
Pantanal.
The rainy season in Amazon begins at
the end of October in the southern regions, and around December for the
central ones. It continues until March or even June, mostly on north.
The temperature in Rio de Janeiro: during winter around
20ºC, dropping sometimes to 1520ºC. The rainy days in Rio cannot be
foreseen, but Rio has plenty of options for activates inside.
Salvador, Fortaleza, Recife and other resorts around these cities have
pleasant temperatures all year round. They rarely drop under 25ºC and on
very rare occasions exceed 33ºC. The winter temperatures are around
3-4ºC lower than the summer ones. In the regions of Salvador and Recife,
the rainy season begins around the beginning of April and lasts 3 months
approximately. In Fortaleza the rain begins with around month later and
continues the with the same durations of 3 months approximately. The
rains usually doesn't last long enough to scare the tourists in these
all year round beach regions.
By tradition the carnival in Brazil (The Carnaval) starts 276 days before Easter. Every town have its own unique way to celebrate it. In the southeastern cities like, Rio and Sao Paulo, there are organized parades leaded by the samba schools and are aesthetical influenced from the carnival in Venice. The participation in these parades is prohibited to watching only, but in the smaller parades in other towns this is possible for you. In the northeastern cities like Salvador, Porto Seguro and Recife, the parades are also organized on the streets, but you can freely participate in them. The Carnaval is directly influenced from the African-Brazilian culture.
Rio de Janiero

If you are looking for subtropical beach + cosmopolitanism + night life
+ rich tourists services, Rio de Janeiro and the nearest resorts are
just the place for you. Rio is living from its beaches to degree never
seen elsewhere. The beach Copacabana is mythical and it's the heart of
Rio, with its many restaurants, bars and plenty of night life. For these
of you that want not only beach, but also friendly people, music,
parties, beach sports, city life... Copacabana will be inevitable for
you. If you are looking for more quite and family beaches you can go to
Ipanema and Leblon. Most of the social life, and even the business, in
Rio is happening on and near the beach. If you want to try the spirit of
Rio de Janeiro, you have to spend a day on Copacabana, take a walk from
Avenida Atlantica till Ipanema and Leblon to south and eat in one of the
many restaurants on these places.
Sao Paulo

The downtown of the city isn't secure at night, although there are lots
of office buildings in the region. The best hotels and shopping places,
night life and bars are located in other part of the city, although not
very far away from it. Bixiga (Little Italy), near downtown, is very
popular zone for night life with it's clubs, bars and restaurants. There
are more reputed zones for accommodation and night life or shopping in
Sao Paulo: Jardins, not far from the downtown, but much more secure. The
best striptease clubs are in this region, mostly around Hilton hotel or
Caesar Park Hotel. Faria de Lima Avenue is also very reputed and most
secure. Villa Madalena in Pinherios are also excelent places for fun and
shopping. Also very central and excellent for shopping or sports is the
zone adjacent to the most famous park of Sao Paulo: the Ibirapuera Park.
Sao Paulo has few excellent beaches, although not top goal for the
tourists there. Guaraja and Santos are the main beaches just a few miles
away from Sao Paulo.
Salvador de Bahia

Salvador de Bahia contains 50km of top Brazilian resorts with hundreds
of natural water pools, surronded by cocoas - Bara, Ondina, Rio Vermelho,
Amaralina, Pituba, Armação, Corsário, Jaguaribe, Piatã, Itapoã, Stella
Maris, Flamengo, Aleluia... But Salvador, same as Rio, is much more than
just good beaches. Bahia and especially Salvador is the musical soul of
Brazil. There is always music around the beaches, especially the central
beach, Bara. Salvador de Bahia is the heart of fascinating culture,
mixing the African culture with the European. The city offers big choice
of opportunities, musical festivals, carnivals, and all sorts of fun. In
Salvador every occasion is good for music and dancing. There is non stop
party on the streets of Pelourino. Also there are a lot of opportunities
for shopping, unique food and colonial landmarks, also few historical
places.
